Much has been written recently re-guarding the amount of miles water has to travel before it reaches the consumer.
Here at Swithland Spring Water we have our own Natural Spring Water and is extracted at source, therefore it travels 0 miles to the state of the art bottling plant and warehouse.
The vast majority of our customers are located within a 40 mile radius from our depot, with each bottle only having travelled on average 6 miles. This is extremely low overall ‘Water miles’ when compared to our competitors in the industry.

Our water is delivered in High Quality Polycarbonate Bottles which, when empty are collected from our customers and returned to our depot, where they are cleaned and sanitised before being refilled.
On average the bottle lasts up to 50 cycles and will have carried out 1000 litres of water. At the end of their effective life the bottles are chipped and the plastic reused. This compares very favourably with the amount of 1 litre plastic PET bottles needed for the same amount and the equivalent recycling costs and land fill damage. |
